Biography:

I was born and raised in the Detroit area of Michigan.  I have spent my years training children, young people and adults in the medium of music.  I love seeing people grow in music and want to see them develop into well-rounded musicians. 

Education:

• Associates Degree in Church Music
• Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Theory/Composition
• (Moody Bible Institute, Chicago, and Grand Valley State University, Michigan)
• Master's Level work in Education

* Ajudicator at local choral/music competitions and festivals including Fredericksburg American Idol and the Virginia District Choral Festivals for Spotsylvania Public Schools

*Taught  weekly classes for "Cinderella" with CYT (Christian Youth Theater) 

*15 years of teaching pre-K through highschool music and choir

* 20 years of private teaching instruction

* 2 years, Director of Music Education, Jordan Kitts Music

*Co-Founder of the Spotswood School of Music & Arts, Fredericksburg, VA
