On December 15, 2017,  Rochelle had the opportunity to play at the White House.  She accompanied a small group of singers from the Spotsylvanians, a community choir.  They provided music for a White House staff Christmas party.  After they sang, she played for the rest of the evening as guests strolled the hallways and munched on snowflake cookies.  She played the 1929 Steinway, a one-of-a-kind piano made as the 300,000th piano made by Steinway.  It has gold pictures on the side and giant eagle legs.  She had to go through a strict security check to be able to play.  It was exciting to know that the President and his family were just up the stairs listening!
